So personally I think one of the most amazing parts of Astronomy are all of the incredible photos that can be taken like this one, and since we have been talking about light this one can relate.
Lunar halos are caused by sunlight reflected off the Moon. This light passes through ice crystals in thin clouds in Earth's atmosphere. This light refraction generates the optical phenomena.
