Over a period of three years, UK astronomers have produced an image of over 100,000 galaxies over an area four times larger than the size of the full Moon. This is the "most sensitive infrared map of the distant universe ever undertaken" according to the article. These pictures will allow scientists to see into the past more than 10 billion years, right to the earliest years of the universe. Very exciting! Check it out:
