Speedy Star Spit Out By Black Hole?

A super-fast star has been found speeding away from our galaxy, puzzling astronomers who wonder where it came from. Evidence points towards its perhaps having been shot out of a black hole in a neighboring galaxy, the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC). Apparently this star, which is 35 million years old, is quite puzzling and of much interest to astronomers as it is "the first observational clue that a massive black hole exists somewhere in the LMC".
