A star named BP Piscium may have swallowed up is companion start and "burped out" a planet forming dust cloud, reports a team of scientists from UCLA. The star appears to have expanded during is transformation into a red giant, engulfing its smaller companion, which stirred up the the gas in BP PIscium's atmosphere, creating a cloud which could form planets just as a new star would.
