You will be living in tuna can like structures that are designed as to have the ability to provide the necessary living conditions to survive on Mars. The Society looks to help push the human exploration of Mars, because the technology is there, but the government doesn't really want to risk sending humans to mars. But the Mars society is looking for people who are willing to accept the dangers and take the trip. You can sometimes see them questioning the presidential candidates on the space travel and exploration policies.
