Aurora Borealis

Hey whats up all-

So I saw this thing on the discovery channel about the Aurora Borealis, otherwise known as the northern lights. I learned that they are a product of the sun's energy interacting with the Earth's magnetic field near the poles of the earth. There is a lot to do with astronomy which explains this phenomenom, Im sure you all know this already. During the most intense solar storms, the lights can be seen as far south as mexico! I thought this was interesting and I think I remember Bates mentioning something about it in class.

Peace out-
Dusty
