Ancient Asteroids From the Beginning

Three asteroids have been found which seem to be from the oldest years of our solar system. They appear, for the most part, unchanged and are approx. 4.55 billion years old, according to the team of scientists led by University of Maryland's Jessica Sunshine. Apparently these asteroids are now candidates for future space missions which would collect and bring back samples which could provide more information towards understanding the solar system's earliest years.
