Europe Almost Set to Launch First Unmanned Cargo Ship
The ESA (European Space Agency) is undergoing final preparations to launch the first unmanned cargo ship to the International Space Station, scheduled sometime between February 22 and March 9. The cargo ship is designed to carry food, water, fuel and other supplies to the space station once every 18 months or so, and will correct the ISS's orbit in the process (as Earth's gravitational pull slowly brings down the ISS's altitude). The full story can be read here.
