Martian river delta
The European Space Agency's Mars Express captured this view with its High Resolution Stereo Camera. This region, known as Nepenthes Mensae, was once a river delta on the Red Planet. The orbiter captured this image January 22, 2008.The data was acquired in the region lying at approximately 3° north and 121° east
